Short answer
Give each main service its own page because people search for services one at a time, such as "kitchen waterproofing" or "GST registration help", and a page about exactly that is far easier for search engines to match than one long list. A good service page explains what the service is, who it is for, how it works, what it includes, where you offer it and how to enquire.
Why one long services page holds you back
Imagine a chartered accountant's website with one page called "Services" that lists income tax returns, GST filing, company registration, audits and payroll in five short lines. Someone searching "help with GST return filing for a small shop" lands on a page that mentions GST once. A rival with a full page on GST filing, its process, documents needed and common questions is a much better match.
Separate pages also give you separate titles, separate descriptions and a clear place to send ads, social posts and internal links for each service.
Which services deserve their own page
- Services customers ask for by name on the phone or on WhatsApp.
- Services that bring in good revenue or that you want more of.
- Services with their own questions, process or price approach.
- Skip separate pages for tiny add-ons that nobody searches for on their own; mention them on the main service page instead.
An outline you can follow
- Heading that names the service plainly, with the area if you serve locally: "Bathroom waterproofing in Chandigarh and Mohali".
- Two or three opening sentences: what it is, who it is for, and the main reason to choose you.
- Signs you need it, or problems it solves, in the customer's words.
- How it works, step by step, from first call to finished job.
- What is included and what is not.
- How pricing works, using only prices or ranges you are happy to publish.
- Real photos of your own work, with alt text.
- Short answers to common questions.
- One clear call to action: call, WhatsApp, or an enquiry form.
Details that make a page stand out
Generic pages all sound alike: "We provide quality service at affordable rates." Specific details only you can give make a page useful. Mention the brands of material you use, how long a typical job takes, what customers should prepare, the areas you cover, the qualifications of the person doing the work and an honest note on when the service is not the right fit.
Linking the pages together
Link each service page from your main menu or a services hub page, and link related services to each other: a waterproofing page might link to a terrace repair page. Blog posts that answer questions about a service should link to that service page. These internal links help visitors move around and help search engines see which pages matter.
Avoid making near-identical pages for every small variation or every town. Two pages that differ only by one word compete with each other and look thin.
How AI Marketing Master helps
The AI page writer drafts a service page from your approved Business Profile, so prices, offers and promises come only from facts you have confirmed. The AI writing help suggests keyword ideas, a title and meta description, and FAQ ideas for the page. Drafts pass quality checks and wait for your approval. Approved pages can be published to WordPress or sent to your developer as a GitHub pull request, and the next audit checks the new page's title, headings and links.
What it does not do
- Direct publishing of pages works with WordPress and GitHub; on other website builders you copy the approved text in yourself.
- Keyword ideas are AI suggestions without search volume numbers.
Questions people ask
How long should a service page be?
Long enough to answer what a customer needs before calling you. For most services that is several short sections, not a single paragraph and not an essay.
Should I put prices on service pages?
If you can, even as a starting price or what affects the price, it helps customers. Publish only prices you are happy to honour.
Can I make one page per city for each service?
Only where you have something real and different to say for each place. Copying a page and changing the city name creates thin pages.
Do service pages need FAQs?
They are helpful when customers ask the same questions repeatedly. Keep the answers short and specific.
