AI Marketing Master

Marketing glossary

Short answers to "what does this mean?" in plain words.

SEO (search engine optimisation)
Work that helps search engines find, understand and show your pages to people looking for what you offer. It includes clear pages, correct technical setup and helpful content. Nobody can promise a ranking.
AEO (answer engine optimisation)
Writing clear, correct answers to real questions so that search engines and AI assistants can quote them. It uses the same basics as good SEO: facts, structure and trust. Nobody can promise that an AI assistant will mention you.
Local SEO
Helping people nearby find your business, for example in Google Maps. Your Google Business Profile, reviews and correct name, address and phone number matter most.
Google Business Profile
Your free business listing on Google Search and Maps. It shows your hours, phone, photos, posts and reviews.
Meta description
A short summary of a page, written in the page code. Search engines sometimes show it under your title in results.
Page title (title tag)
The name of a page, shown in the browser tab and usually as the blue link in search results.
Structured data (schema)
Extra code that describes a page in a standard way, such as "this is a bakery, open 9 to 7". It must match what people see on the page.
Approval
A person checks the exact version of a post or page and says yes, no or "please change". In our app nothing is published without approval unless you switch on Autopilot.
Autopilot
An optional setting where checked content is published without waiting for a person. It needs your recorded consent, and quality checks still run every time.
Verification
After publishing, we read the live page or post back and check it is really there and correct. Until then it shows as "Published", not "Live".
Deliverable
A piece of promised work, such as "4 blog posts this month", tracked from planned to verified.
White-label
An agency shows the app, emails and reports with its own logo, colours and web address.
