Refund and Cancellation Policy
Last updated: 29 October 2026. Version: 2026-10-29.
This policy explains how cancellation, pausing and refunds work in AI Marketing Master ("the Service"), run by Shivah Web Tech Private Limited ("we", "us"). It is part of our Terms of Service.
1. The short version
- You can cancel at any time. A paid plan keeps working until the end of the month you paid for.
- You can ask for a refund on any payment from the Billing page. A person at Shivah Web Tech reads every request.
- If a refund is approved, the money goes back the way you paid.
- Credits from a refunded payment that you have not used are taken back.
- If you were charged twice or charged by mistake, tell us and we will put it right.
2. Free trial
- New workspaces start with a free trial (currently 3 days). It can be extended once when you complete your business profile.
- The trial is free. We do not take a card to start it, and it does not turn into a paid plan by itself.
- If you cancel during the trial, the trial ends at once. You can bring it back until its original end date.
- When the trial ends, choose and pay for a plan to keep using paid features. Until then, the workspace becomes read-only after a short grace period.
3. How paid plans are billed
- Plans are paid one month in advance, in INR, USD, GBP, CAD, AED or AUD.
- Indian rupee payments go through Razorpay or Cashfree. Other currencies go through Stripe.
- Autopay is optional. If you turn it on, the payment provider charges you each month. You can turn autopay off at any time in Billing. The month you already paid for keeps running.
- If you choose to pay month by month without autopay, nothing is charged until you pay for the next month.
- Indian customers receive a GST invoice where GST applies.
- Annual plans: we do not offer annual plans at the moment. If we add annual plans, we will state their refund rule here before we sell them.
4. Cancelling
- Cancel at any time in Billing.
- Paid plan: the cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid month. You keep full access until then. You are not charged again.
- After the paid month ends, the workspace is read-only for 30 days. You can look at your work and export your data. Nothing is published or generated.
- After those 30 days, your data stays until you ask us to delete the workspace. We do not delete it automatically at this time.
- You can come back at any time by paying for a plan.
- Cancelling does not by itself give a refund for the current month. You can still ask for one (section 7).
- If you ask us to delete your workspace, autopay is turned off straight away.
5. Pausing instead of cancelling
- You can pause a paid plan for 1, 2 or 3 months.
- Autopay must be off before a pause. The Service asks you to turn it off.
- The pause starts when your paid month ends. There is no refund for part of a month.
- While paused, you can look and export. Nothing is published or generated. Your data is kept.
- When the pause ends, you pay for the next month to continue. You can cancel a pause before it starts.
6. Changing plans
- A plan change during a paid month starts when that month ends. You pay the new price from then.
- During a trial, a plan change starts at once.
- While autopay is on, the plan cannot be changed. Turn autopay off first.
- Lowering your plan never deletes your data. Some features may stop when the lower limits apply.
7. Asking for a refund
How to ask
- Go to Billing and choose the payment.
- Choose Ask for a refund.
- Tell us why (at least a short sentence).
- Ask for the full amount left on the payment, or part of it.
Only people with billing permission in the workspace can ask. You can also email dev@shivahwebtech.com.
What happens next
- The amount you asked for is held, so the same money cannot be asked for twice.
- A member of our staff reviews the request. Only senior staff can approve or reject a refund, and they must use two-factor sign-in.
- We approve or reject it. If we reject it, we give a reason. You get an email either way.
- If we approve it, we ask the payment provider to send the money back to the card, bank account or method you used. For some providers we do this in the provider's own dashboard.
- The refund is marked Refunded only when the payment provider confirms it. You get an email then.
How long it takes
- We aim to decide within 5 business days.
- After we approve, the provider and your bank usually take 5 to 10 business days to show the money in your account.
When we usually give a refund
- You were charged twice for the same thing.
- You were charged after you had cancelled, or after you turned autopay off.
- You were charged the wrong amount.
- A paid feature you bought did not work because of a fault on our side, and we could not fix it within a reasonable time.
- In your first paid month, if you ask within 7 days and have used very little of the Service.
When we may not give a refund
- For a month that has already ended.
- For credits or AI work that have already been used.
- When the account was suspended for breaking our Terms or Acceptable Use Policy.
- When a payment is already part of a chargeback (see section 10).
We look at every request fairly. These lists are a guide, not a promise or a blanket rule. Your legal rights as a consumer are not affected.
8. Credits and refunds
- Plan credits come with each paid month and end when the month ends. They do not roll over.
- Trial credits end when the trial ends.
- Bought credit packs do not expire. They are not refunded once bought, except when you were charged twice or the wrong amount (section 7).
- When work fails: before costly work starts, the credits it needs are held. If the job fails before the provider charges for it, all held credits are returned to your wallet automatically. If a job finishes but uses less, the rest is returned. If a result is not delivered, our staff can give the credits back.
- When a payment is refunded: credits from that payment that you have not used are taken back, in proportion to the money returned. Credits you already used cannot be taken back. If that happens, a person reviews the account, and actions that use credits may be put on hold until then.
- Credits have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money.
9. Double, wrong or failed payments
- Charged twice: if you paid for the same plan twice by mistake, the second payment adds another month. Ask for a refund of the duplicate and we will deal with it as in section 7.
- Wrong amount: if the provider reports an amount or currency different from what we asked for, we do not accept it as paid. Contact us and we will help sort it out with the provider.
- Money taken but the payment failed: this is usually reversed by the provider or your bank on its own. If it is not, contact us with the payment reference. We will help you sort it out with the provider within 5 business days after you send us the reference.
- Two autopay sign-ups at once: the Service blocks a second autopay checkout while one is open, so you are not set up to be charged twice.
10. Chargebacks and payment disputes
- Please contact us before you open a dispute with your bank. We can usually fix the problem faster.
- If you open a chargeback, the bank returns the money through its own process. We do not also refund it through a refund request.
- While a chargeback is open, unused credits from that payment are taken back, and actions that use credits are put on hold until our staff review the account.
- If the dispute ends in our favour, the credits that were taken back are returned and the hold is lifted.
- We may limit or suspend a workspace if chargebacks are used to get the Service without paying.
11. Taxes and invoices on refunds
- Refunds include the tax that was charged, in proportion to the amount refunded.
- For a refund on a GST invoice, we issue a credit note. We make it by hand for now, so ask us at dev@shivahwebtech.com if you do not receive one.
12. Ad spend and outside costs
- Money you spend on ads is charged by the ad platform (for example Meta or Google) to your own ad account. Refunds of ad spend are between you and that platform.
- Fees charged by other outside services you connect (for example your website host or CRM) are between you and them.
13. Contact and complaints
- Refund questions: dev@shivahwebtech.com or +91 85808 92163.
- If you are not happy with our answer, you can contact our Grievance Officer. Their details are in our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
