Landing page guidelines that bring in more enquiries

Updated 21 Oct 2026 · Written and checked by the AI Marketing Master team, Shivah Web Tech

Short answer

A good landing page focuses on one offer for one audience. Its heading matches the ad or post that sent the visitor, it explains what they get and why to trust you, it shows a single clear action such as a short enquiry form, and it loads quickly on a phone. Remove anything that does not help a visitor decide, and test the whole journey yourself before sending traffic.

One page, one purpose

A landing page is not a mini website. It exists to get one kind of visitor to take one action. If your clinic is promoting a physiotherapy package for back pain, the page should not also advertise skin treatments and a careers section. Every extra option is a reason to leave without deciding.

Before writing, finish this sentence: This page is for ___ who want ___, and the action is ___. If you cannot, the page is not ready.

Match the message that brought them

Visitors arrive from somewhere: an Instagram post, a Google ad, a WhatsApp forward. If the ad says Weekend batch for Class 10 maths and the page opens with Welcome to our institute, people wonder whether they are in the right place. Repeat the promise of the ad in the page heading, using similar words and the same offer.

What the first screen on a phone should show

  • A heading that states the offer in plain words.
  • One line saying who it is for or what problem it solves.
  • A real photo of your work, place or product, not a generic stock image.
  • The main button, visible without scrolling.

Further down the page

Never invent reviews, countdown timers that reset, or fake limited seats. Apart from being dishonest, these can break consumer protection and advertising rules.

  • What is included, as a short list.
  • Proof that is real: certifications you hold, photos of past work, genuine customer words used with permission.
  • Answers to the two or three worries that stop people, such as timing, location or what happens after they enquire.
  • The same action repeated at the end.

Forms people actually finish

Ask only for what you need to call back: a name and a phone number or email, plus an optional message. Say what happens next, for example that the team will call within working hours. Keep the consent wording clear and do not pre-tick it. Then test the form on your own phone and confirm the enquiry reaches the right person.

Speed, accessibility and search

Use few, compressed images and avoid heavy add-ons, so the page loads quickly on mobile data. Give images a short description for screen readers, keep text large enough to read and make buttons easy to tap. Short-lived campaign pages can be set to noindex so they do not compete with your main service pages in search.

How AI Marketing Master helps

Landing Page Studio uses fixed blocks (hero, text, image, features, call to action, enquiry form) that already follow many of these points: plain text, phone-friendly layout, images from your own library with rights checked, and a form that sends leads to the CRM with their source. Versions are saved, so you can try a new heading and restore the old one if it does worse.

What it does not do

  • Landing Page Studio uses a fixed layout and no custom code, so complex designs or split tests need another tool.
  • Landing pages live at /lp/your-page; an own domain per landing page is not available.

Questions people ask

Should a landing page have a navigation menu?

Usually not. Removing the menu keeps attention on the one action. A link back to your main website in the footer is enough.

How long should a landing page be?

Long enough to answer the questions that stop people acting. Simple offers can be short; bigger decisions need more explanation.

How do I know if the page is working?

Compare visits with enquiries over a few weeks, using the lead source in your CRM, then change one thing at a time.
