Short answer
New lead alerts tell your team as soon as an enquiry arrives, so someone can call back while the person is still interested. AI Marketing Master sends each new lead alert by email and in the app, and also by WhatsApp and web push on phones and computers once those are set up. Alerts go only to your own team members who can see that business's leads. Nothing is sent to the lead.
Why a separate alert matters
A lead list is only useful if someone looks at it. In a busy shop or clinic, nobody refreshes a CRM all day. An alert on the device your team already carries closes the gap between an enquiry arriving and someone noticing it.
The four alert channels
- Email: sent for every new lead, with the person's name, where the lead came from and a button that opens it. If the lead looks like a duplicate, the email says so.
- In-app: the notification bell keeps a copy, so alerts are not lost if an email is missed.
- WhatsApp: once WhatsApp alerts are set up and the alert template is approved by Meta, team members who opted in get a short WhatsApp message with the lead's name and source.
- Web push: once switched on, team members who allow notifications on a phone or computer get a push alert, even when the app is closed.
Who receives alerts
Alerts go to people whose role lets them view leads for the business the lead belongs to: usually the owner, admins, managers, client managers and the client's own users. Content writers, reviewers and finance staff do not receive lead alerts. If someone adds a lead by hand, they are not alerted about their own entry.
In an agency account, staff only hear about leads for the clients they are assigned to.
When alerts are not sent
- Test leads, such as Google Ads test submissions, do not trigger alerts.
- Spreadsheet imports do not send one alert per row; you see a summary when the import finishes.
- Simple bot submissions caught by the form's hidden spam field are dropped before they become leads.
- Repeated deliveries of the same ad lead are stored once and alerted once.
Alerts are for your team, not for leads
Some tools blur the line between telling your team and messaging the customer. AI Marketing Master keeps them apart. WhatsApp templates are used only to notify and ask approvals from your own team, who opted in to receive them. The product never sends WhatsApp, email or SMS marketing to leads, and has no bulk messaging. When the alert arrives, a person decides how to reply.
Getting the most from alerts
- Turn on web push on the phone of whoever handles enquiries first.
- Pair alerts with a rule that gives the lead to someone and adds a call-back task due today.
- Agree who covers alerts on Sundays and holidays.
- If alerts become noise, check whether spam is coming through your form and mark those leads as spam.
What it does not do
- WhatsApp alerts need Meta template approval and team members who opted in.
- Web push works only once switched on and allowed on each device.
- No SMS alerts, and no alerts or messages to leads themselves.
Questions people ask
Do WhatsApp alerts cost extra?
See the pricing page for current plans. WhatsApp alerts also depend on the platform's WhatsApp setup and Meta's template approval.
Can I get alerts without installing anything?
Yes. Email and in-app alerts work straight away. Web push needs you to allow notifications in your browser or installed app.
Can the lead get a confirmation message?
Not from AI Marketing Master. You can send people to a thank-you page after the form, which tells them what happens next.
Does the alert include the person's phone number?
The WhatsApp alert includes the name and source. Open the lead from the alert to see contact details, which keeps personal data inside the app.
