Posting to X (Twitter) from the same calendar as everything else

Updated 21 Oct 2026 · Written and checked by the AI Marketing Master team, Shivah Web Tech

Short answer

AI Marketing Master lets you schedule posts to X from the same calendar you use for your other channels. Each post can have text and up to four photos. You approve it, the app publishes it at the planned time, and then it reads the post back from X to confirm the approved text is there before showing Verified. Video posts, polls and multi-post threads are not supported.

Why put X on the shared calendar

X is easy to forget when it lives in a separate app. Posts go out in bursts, then nothing for weeks. Putting it on the same calendar as Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn means you see the gaps, and one approval step covers every channel.

It also stops the same announcement going out word for word everywhere. You can see that LinkedIn got the long version and X got the short one.

How writing for X differs

  • Short and specific. Standard accounts have a character limit per post, and the quality check flags drafts that run over.
  • One idea per post. If you need three points, choose the strongest.
  • Plain words beat slogans. Say what changed, when and where.
  • One link at most, and only if the post makes sense without it.
  • Photos help when they show the real thing: the product, the queue, the finished job.

One idea, three shapes

Say a hardware store gets a new stock of inverter batteries before summer. On LinkedIn it becomes a short note for builders about availability. On Instagram it is a photo with a caption about avoiding power cuts at home. On X it is a single line: new inverter batteries in stock this week, call to check your model, with one photo of the shelf.

When you ask for a post on several platforms, the app drafts a separate version for each, and you can edit every version before approving.

What X posting supports

  • Text posts.
  • Text with up to four photos.
  • Scheduling on the shared content calendar.
  • Read-back checks after publishing, so Published turns into Verified only when the post is confirmed.
  • Not supported: video, polls, multi-post threads, replies and direct messages.

Setting it up

  • Sign in to your X account from the app's connections screen and allow posting.
  • Write a post or ask Milo for a few short versions of an announcement.
  • Pick a time on the calendar.
  • Approve it. If the connection has expired by then, the app shows Failed with a reason and asks you to sign in again instead of pretending it worked.

Is X worth your time?

Be honest about where your customers are. X tends to suit businesses whose buyers follow news, technology, finance, sport or public affairs, and professionals who want to be seen sharing expertise. A neighbourhood salon or sweet shop may get more from Instagram, Facebook and a well-kept Google Business Profile. If X is not bringing you conversations after a few months of steady posting, it is fine to drop it.

What it does not do

  • Only text and up to four photos per post.
  • No video, polls, threads, replies or direct messages on X.
  • X access tokens expire; if renewal is not possible you will need to sign in again.

Questions people ask

Can I post videos to X from the app?

No. Posts to X can include text and up to four photos only.

Can I post a thread?

No. Each scheduled item is a single post.

Does it show how my X posts did?

Post numbers in the app cover Facebook, Instagram and YouTube. For X, check the numbers in X itself.

Can I connect more than one X account?

Each business connects its own X account. Agencies connect each client's account under that client.

What happens if the same post is sent twice by mistake?

Before posting, the app checks whether that approved post already went out to the account, so a retry after a network problem does not create a duplicate.
