Short answer
The Shopify integration in AI Marketing Master is for your store's blog only. Approved blog articles, with their featured images, are published to the Shopify blog you choose and then checked on the store. It does not change products, collections, prices, orders or customer records, so your shop data stays as it is.
Why a store blog is worth the effort
Product pages answer one question: can I buy this here? Many shoppers start earlier, with questions such as how to choose a size, how to care for a fabric or which gift suits a festival. A blog lets your store answer those questions in its own words and link to the right products.
The hard part is writing regularly. The AI blog writer drafts articles, quality checks run on every draft, and you approve the ones that sound right before they go to Shopify.
What is available today
- Publishing approved blog articles to one blog in your Shopify store.
- AI featured images for articles, made in Creative Studio with credits.
- A check after publishing, so an article shows Verified only once the app finds it on your store.
- Clear messages when the token is rejected, the blog cannot be found or Shopify does not answer.
What you need from Shopify
You need your store's myshopify.com address, for example your-store.myshopify.com, and an Admin API access token from a custom app you create in your own Shopify admin. That app only needs permission to create and edit blog content. You do not need to give it access to products, orders or customers.
Optionally, note the handle of the blog you want to use, such as news. If you leave it empty, the app uses your only blog or the default news blog.
Connecting your store, step by step
- Open the Connections screen in AI Marketing Master and choose the Shopify blog card.
- In your Shopify admin, go to the apps settings and create a custom app for your store.
- In that app's Admin API settings, allow it to write blog content, then install the app.
- Copy the Admin API access token. Shopify shows it once, so paste it straight into the Connections screen with your store address.
- Add the blog handle if you have more than one blog, then press Connect Shopify. The app tests the token and tells you if anything is missing.
Privacy, storage and switching it off
Your token is kept encrypted and is never displayed again. The app writes blog articles and reads them back to confirm they exist; it does not read sales or customer details. If you disconnect, the token is deleted on our side, and articles already published stay on your store. Uninstalling the custom app in Shopify also cuts access straight away.
How it fits with the rest of your store marketing
The website audit works on any public site, so it can crawl your storefront and point out missing descriptions, broken links or slow pages. Fixes on Shopify pages are not applied for you, though; you or your developer make them in the Shopify admin. Product photos can be turned into clean backgrounds, social graphics and ad images in Creative Studio, then used in posts and ads you approve.
What it does not do
- Blog articles only: no product, collection, order or customer sync.
- SEO fixes are not applied automatically on Shopify.
- One blog is used per connection; choose it by its handle.
Questions people ask
Can it update my product descriptions?
No. The Shopify connection is for blog articles only. Product titles, descriptions and prices are not changed.
Do I need a Shopify developer?
Usually not. Creating a custom app and copying its token is done in the Shopify admin by the store owner or staff with the right permissions. Shopify's menus change from time to time, so the Connections screen shows the current steps.
What happens to articles if I disconnect?
They stay on your store. Disconnecting only deletes the saved token and stops new publishing.
Can it fix SEO problems on my Shopify store automatically?
Not yet. Automatic fixes work on WordPress. For Shopify, the audit explains each problem and what to change.
